A mobile terminal and an antenna having a matching circuit are provided to implement a characteristic used in each of frequency bands by using the matching circuit which performs an electric tuning in response to a frequency. A mobile terminal includes a first casing(100), a second casing(200), an antenna(130), a ground connection line(400), and a matching circuit(140). A ground unit is formed on the first casing having a main substrate. A ground unit is formed on the second casing. The antenna is electrically coupled to one of the ground unit of the first casing and the ground of the second casing. The ground connection line electrically connects the ground of the first casing to the ground of the second casing. The matching circuit is coupled to the ground connection line, and performs an electric tuning for a specific frequency. |
