The present invention relates to a counterweight with variable inertia and automatic variation for tree shakers consisting of a head configuration in which there is integrated a counterweight that is obtained from two main metal plates (2-2'), such that the rotating shaft (3) of the counterweight (1) can be externally accessed through the corresponding hole made on the head, the plates being spaced from one another by means of spacers (4) which are screwed onto the plates, with an arrangement according to an imaginary circumference, having a diameter slightly greater than the maximum diameter reachable by the counterweight (1). Tw&ogr; pairs of flat bars (6) with threaded holes (7) having an arched configuration intended for the movement therein of bolts (8) associated with the arms (9) making up the shaker clamp are fixed on the upper area of the head.
