The device has an induced rotor collector (17) whose front face (17a) is held in a bearing segment (19) of a housing (18) and covered by a cap (23). The cap is connected to the housing in a form-fit manner. The cap is deformed after its installation on the front face of the rotor collector. The bearing segment of the housing is designed in shape of a dome, and the cap is installed on the dome of the bearing segment. The dome comprises a circumferential groove (21) with reduced diameter at a distance to the front face. An independent claim is also included for an electric machine.
