The capsule (1) has a base element (2) including a cavity (3) in which a beverage raw material e.g. chocolate powder, is provided. The cavity is sealed by a membrane (4), which is secured to the base element. An identification (7) e.g. printed radio frequency identification (RFID), is provided on inner sides (2.4, 4.1) of the base element and/or the membrane, and allows individualization of the capsule. The identification is formed on a film (6) e.g. hose, which is connected with the base element and/or the membrane. An edge region or flange (2.3) is provided at the base element. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a portion capsule.
