A multipurpose colander used for draining and grating in one utensil which includes graters 1b on the inside of the colander bowl designed to roughen up the edges of potatoes ready for roasting. The base of the colander can have integrated funnel (5). The colander may comprise a single handle or the colander and lid can have two handles with integrated neodymium stainless steel magnets 2 as the fastening feature for the colander and lid to be held together. The lid can feature a top knob (3b) but it is not an essential of the utensil as the lid has handles to remove lid, or in the case of magnets being in the handles, the lid will slide away from the colander handles 2 when removing. The lid may be dome shaped (3a, 4) for more room in the utensil in order for the potatoes to be shaken around more easily. |
