The method involves excavating a trench (4) in a ground (12). U-shaped channel elements (22) are inserted into the trench. Multiple movable operating wagons (2) are utilized on a track (1). Each wagon exhibit a digging device (6) or a digger for the trench, a split feeding device (19) and a channel element insertion device (21), which are seen one behind another in a driving direction. The wagons are moved forward in a continuous manner, during the operation. Digging material (11) is milled by the digging devices. The digging devices are designed as trench milling devices in form of bands. |
