There is provided an image display device capable of realizing real time display of an image based on a radio signal and coping with a miss error of a reader such as a doctor. The image display device includes a storage unit (11) for holding an electric signal or the like outputted from a switch unit (10) for a predetermined time and an image data generation unit (12) for generating predetermined image data according to the electric signal outputted from the switch unit (10) or the electric signal stored in the storage unit (11). Since the image data generation unit (12) not only inputs an electric signal directly from the switch unit (10) but also inputs an electric signal delayed by a predetermined time in the storage unit (11), it is possible to display not only a real time image but also a past image delayed by a predetermined time as compared to the real time image.
