The circuit (2) i.e. electrical EPROM, has a protection unit for a part (4) to be protected, where the protection unit is formed by a set of protection conducting structures (8a-8d), where each conducting structure is initially charged such that its electric load is provided in a given range. Each conducting structure is associated with a detection circuit (10a-10d). A protection signal (PS) is used by the circuit to partially protect the part when the load level detected for the conducting structures does not correspond to electric charge in the given range.
