Packaging comprising a light-transparent container 8 adapted to hold a liquid and having within said container at least one sheet of composite light transparent polymeric material 14. Material 14 comprises a first layer 16 having plurality of randomly located bubble or droplet shaped dimples 18 that have a maximum internal dimension in the range 1-6mm; and a second layer (20, Fig 2) of light transparent plastic sheet material attached thereto. Dimples 18 may cover at least 5% of the surface and may be hemispherical or semi-ellipsoidal in shape. Composite sheet material 14 is attached to an inner surface 22 of container 8 such that a majority of the dimples 18 contact, in part, the inner surface 22 of the container. The first layer 16 may have a thickness between 0.04 and 1.0 mm, and the second layer (20) may have a thickness of between 0.01 and 1.0 mm. |
