A cover for a wheelie bin includes a portion 17 to cover the main body of the bin; a flange 18 to cover the rim of the bin and a flap 16 to cover the lid of a bin. Ideally the cover engages the bin by hook and loop fastenings (eg Velcro rtm) at multiple points 19 on the flange and the bins rim; and at multiple points 13 on the flap and the lid. Other fasteners such as elastic, studs, magnets, buckles, clips or zips could be used. Preferably the flap is releasably or permanently attached to the body portion to be placed over the bin as one unit. The cover could be woven or knitted, and somewhat flexible. An image or text could be applied to the cover. The cover could be pulled tight around the bin by straps. |
