<p>A combination (1) is formed which involves drinking glass (2) and a lid (3) for it. The glass is mainly cylindrical, such as a beer glass or a fresh drink glass, and at its upper end (4) is open for filling and drinking purposes. This upper end is limited by a peripheral edge (5) which forms part of the neck (6) of the glass. The lid can be locked in relation to the glass in order to close it, thus maintaining the beverage fresh. The lid has a component for support on the peripheral edge of the glass, to which is coupled a conical compression body, the one being connected to the other by a screw thread connection. The compression body is surrounded by a compressible sealing band for closure of the glass.</p> |
