NAVIGATION SYSTEM, AND UPDATING METHOD OF GUIDE ROUTE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a guide route searched for by a simple work.

SOLUTION: This navigation system 1 has a portable input device 4 and a navigation body 2. The portable input device 4 generates reading data 46 having a plurality of reading coordinate data 51 showing a locus acquired by reading the space of a printed matter 5 on which a map is printed in piles on a plurality of coordinate patterns 13. The navigation body 2 has a guide route generation means 132 for generating a guide route 72 based on setting of a guide spot, a designation specification means 134 for specifying a designated passing spot or a designated passing route in the map which is different from the guide spot based on the plurality of reading coordinate data 51 of the reading data 46 generated by the portable input device 4, and a guide route updating means 132 for updating the guide route 72 generated by the guide route generation means 132 to a guide route 72 passing the designated passing route or the designated passing spot in the map specified by the designation specification means 134.
