An image processing method, an image processing apparatus, and a computer readable recording medium are provided to calculate resolution of original image data and a size of a buried block by using a buried block size judging part, and to bury information in various sizes while keeping picture quality at a more than level, thereby increasing convenience of a user. An encoder(100) comprises a block split part(110), a block extracting part(120), an averaging part(130), resisters(140r,140I), a comparator(150), a buried block size judging part(160), and an encode part(170). The block extracting part outputs concentration distribution from blocks sequentially. The averaging part obtains left and right averaging concentration data corresponding to the blocks. The buried block size judging part calculates resolution of original image data and the size of the buried block. The buried block size judging part compares block size data with the size of the buried block.
