Transmission of data in a data switch network

Data transfer method for use in a switchable data network in which data frames (70-77) are assigned priorities, each frame having a beginning and an end. Data frames with a first priority are transferred in a first phase from first network members (1, 3) to second network members (2, 4). The first phase is characterized by a defined receiving time point of the end of the respective data frame (75-77) at the second network member. Independent claims are also included for the following:- (a) a network data transfer system and; (b) a network member.
