A smart electric vehicle of the present invention comprises a smart control unit (100, SCU) for realizing an advanced smart cruise control (ASCC) which secures the drive safety without the driver's operation in the drive and a VCU (11) for controlling a vehicle at the best level by intercommunicating with a motor control unit (12, MCU), an anti-brake system (20, ABS) and a motor driven power steering (30, MDPS) by a CAN network (200) and controlling a torque of a motor (13) by an operation algorithm which realizes a regenerative brake according to a battery voltage level when reducing the speed for maintaining the distance with the preceding vehicle, thereby generating a regenerative brake energy when reducing the speed according to the ASCC as well as when braking for stopping the vehicle. |
