The invention relates to a process for preparing chelated compounds to be used as additives in fodder compositions. According to the invention, the process consists in washing the protein material consisting of beer yeast, rape-seed grist or whey protein concentrate with a sodium carbonate solution, followed by the ultrasound treatment of the mixture for 2 min, at 400 W, the hydrolysis thereof with a mixture of microbial proteases, endoproteases and aminoproteases, at a temperature of 55...60°C, for 16...20 h, after which the hydrolysate is subjected to ultrafiltration for removing the particles having a molecular mass higher than 3 kDa, followed by the concentration of the hydrolysate up to a content of 15% dry substance to which there is added an insoluble compound of Mo, Se, Cr or hardly soluble compound of Mn, Zn, Fe, B, the mixture being then subjected to an ultrasound treatment to result in a chelated complex which is spray-dried. |
