The present invention relates to a suction nozzle for a vacuum cleaner and, more particularly, to a suction nozzle for a vacuum cleaner for efficiently cleaning a cleaned surface by hitting the cleaned surface. The suction nozzle for a vacuum cleaner comprise: a suction nozzle housing; an agitator arranged inside the suction nozzle housing; a driving motor connected to the agitator to rotate the agitator; a hitting member movably arranged in the agitator to hit the cleaned surface when the agitator operates; and a brush fixed on the agitator to hit the cleaned surface when the agitator operates.
