<p>Provided is an impression tray set for edentulous jaw comprising a mandibular impression tray and maxillary impression tray for taking impressions from an edentulous patient, and capable of simultaneously recording bite position and height data when the impression is taken. This impression tray set for edentulous jaw is configured from a maxillary impression tray (1) and mandibular impression tray (2) that are formed from a tray main body (4) having a U-shape groove where impression material is filled on the front side, and a handle part (6) detachably mounted on an engagement unit formed on the back at the part of the U shape where the residual ridge of the anterior teeth is positioned. In each of the maxillary impression tray (1) and the mandibular impression tray (2), protrusions (7) are provided protruding on the back surface on left and right parts of the U-shape groove where the residual ridge from the first molar region up to the premolar region is positioned, wherein said protrusions (7) are for determining the bite position and height in a state in which at least a part of the flat top surfaces (7a) of said protrusions are brought into contact with each other when taking impressions.</p> |
