摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite graphite-based material which allows a high discharging capacity and high initial charging/discharging efficiency to be obtained, further allows excellent and quick charging/discharging characteristics and excellent cycle characteristics to be obtained when being used as a negative electrode material for a lithium ion secondary battery and, in addition, can be simply manufactured at low costs even from an industrial view point.SOLUTION: A composite graphite-based material comprises: an adhesive A composed of a carbonaceous material and/or a graphite-based material having low crystallinity; a flaky graphite material B; and a spheroidized or substantially spheroidized graphite-based material C. At least a part of the flaky graphite material B protrusively adheres to the graphite-based material C through the adhesive A. The content of the adhesive A ranges from 0.1 to 20 mass%, the content of the flaky graphite material B is no less than 0.05 mass% and is below 30 mass%, and the content of the graphite-based material C ranges from 99.8 to 50 mass%. Further, the composite graphite-based material has no crushed face. There are provided the composite graphite-based material, a manufacturing method thereof, a negative electrode material for a lithium ion secondary battery using the composite graphite-based material and a lithium ion secondary battery.
