PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction in the luminous efficiency of a light-emitting device in which a mounting substrate mounting a light-emitting element has an ESD protection function.SOLUTION: A light-emitting device 10 includes: a light-emitting element 2 having an element terminal electrode 23A that is a non-transparent electrode; and a mounting substrate 11 having a first surface 11A on which the light-emitting element 2 is mounted, and including a semiconductor element portion 15 that is provided on the first surface 11A side so that the entire portion is covered by the element terminal electrode 23A when viewed from the top and is connected to the light-emitting element 2. |
