PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that since predictive conversion input supposed to be executed by a portable telephone or a search system or the like is not normally executed in a Kana/Chinese character conversion type Japanese input system, and input is predicted on the basis of averagely high use frequency in predictive conversion, it is impossible for a person who is in charge of a technical work to expect predictive conversion unique to the field, and that although input is predictable on the basis of the content of personal past mail in the mail of a portable telephone, the predictive conversion of personal input of a wide range of fields supposed to be executed by the Japanese input system is difficult.SOLUTION: The Japanese input system with predictive conversion function is configured to execute predictive conversion which is suitable for a personal user by combining a new dedicated user dictionary with predictive conversion. The user dictionary is also used in a conventional Japanese input system. Two types of dictionaries such as a general user dictionary and a dedicated user dictionary are prepared, and the general user dictionary is equivalent to a conventionally used user dictionary, and the dedicated user dictionary is a dictionary specialized in predictive conversion using partial coincidence search. |
