PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time and labor of moving a top plate by an operator after imaging.SOLUTION: On a top plate 31, a subject is mounted. A top plate support mechanism 32 freely movably supports the top plate 31. A bed drive part 33 generates motive power to be supplied to the top plate support mechanism 32 in order to move the top plate 31. An imaging mechanism 10 is equipped with a mechanism for collecting medical image data related to the subject mounted on the top plate 31. An elevation instruction switch receives an elevation instruction to the top plate 31. A lowering instruction switch receives a lowering instruction to the top plate 31. A storage part 38 stores the height of the top plate 31 at the point of time when the elevation instruction is given as a target return position. A bed control part 34 controls the bed drive part 33 so as to lower the top plate 31 to the target return position stored in the storage part 38 when the lowering instruction is given.
