<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a consolidated data collection and transmission system for package tracking. <P>SOLUTION: The consolidated data collection and transmission system has a data collection terminal which can perform collection and storing of a package tracking data, at least one peripheral device which performs operation chosen beforehand relating to the package tracking based on the communication while receiving at least one communication from the data collection terminal, an intermediate data memory device which is constituted so that the data collection terminal transmits the package tracking data to an intermediate data memory device and may receive an instruction from the intermediate data memory device, and is constituted so that the intermediate data memory device may transmit the instruction to the data collection terminal, and a central data collection appliance which maintains a package tracking database which can be accessed based on the collected and memorized package tracking data, while receiving the package tracking data collected and memorized from the intermediate data memory device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
