PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly control a resin thickness of a resin molding even when a terminal fitting has deformation such as a curve.SOLUTION: A method for coating an electric wire terminal connection 16A with a mold resin by setting the electric wire terminal connection 16A, which is formed by caulking an electric connection 16 provided in a rear portion of a terminal fitting 10 to a terminal of an electric wire W, in a cavity 6 of a mold 1, and injecting the mold resin to the cavity of the mold, includes: providing a projection 31 in at least one of portions facing each other in the electric connection of the terminal fitting and an inner wall of the cavity of the molding, the projection 31 interfering with the opposite mating side when the electric wire terminal connection is set into the cavity while the electric connection is deformed beyond its proper shape; then injecting the mold resin to the cavity while pressing force generated by the interference of the projection corrects the electric connection to the proper shape; and then coating the electric wire terminal connection with the mold resin. |
