PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a number of defects in a software development project to be efficiently and highly accurately predicted.SOLUTION: An index value calculation procedure information storage section stores index value calculation procedure information for defining calculation procedure of an index value used when a number of defects is predicted by using a specific item included in project data in which an outline of a software development project is indicated. An item extraction section inputs the project data of the software development project in progress and extracts an item value of an item used for defining the calculation procedure of the index value in the index value calculation procedure information from a plurality of items included in the project data input. An index value calculation section calculates the index value in accordance with the calculation procedure of the index value of the index value calculation procedure information by using the item value extracted by the item extraction section. |
