PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brushless motor, or the like, which can produce high torque even when using a magnet of low flux density.SOLUTION: A brushless motor 100 comprises: a stator 120 having an exciting coil of three-phase or more; a rotor 140 placed rotatably on the inside of the stator 120; a rotation control unit 160 for controlling rotation of the rotor 140 by controlling the exciting current flowing through the exciting coil; and a rotation detection unit 150 for detecting the timing when the circumferential center of each magnetic pole of the rotor 140 faces the circumferential center of the exciting coil. The rotation detection unit 150 magnetizes all exciting coils to any one polarity, during rotation control, by supplying the exciting current to all exciting coils simultaneously, and switches the polarity of an opposite exciting coil to the opposite polarity at the timing when the circumferential center of each magnetic pole of the rotor 140 faces the circumferential center of the exciting coil. |
