PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus comprising a display apparatus which suppresses blurring of a moving image and a flicker phenomenon during a panning operation and displays an image with high simultaneity.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 100 comprises: imaging means 109 which comprises a lens changeable in imaging magnification; a display device 107 capable of image display of an imaging target and adjusting the light emission period of a display pixel; an angular velocity sensor 101 which detects the movement of an imaging device; panning determination means 102 which determines whether the movement is a panning operation or not from the output from the angular velocity sensor 101 and outputs a panning velocity; imaging magnification detection means 103 which detects an imaging magnification; light emission period rate determination means 104 which determines the light emission period rate of the display pixel using data on the panning velocity and imaging magnification; and display apparatus drive means 106 which drives the display apparatus 107 using the light emission period rate determined by the light emission period rate determination means 104. |
