PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continue seamless distribution service even if a communication line changes to congested situation, in a communication system including a P2P network.SOLUTION: Line status management means 15 at node 1 checks the line speed between an upstream node at a predetermined period. The data acquisition means of transmission/reception means 10 acquires the data of a distribution hierarchy dependent on the line speed from an upstream node 1. When the data corresponding to that distribution hierarchy cannot be read from a buffer memory 11, at the timing of data reproduction, distribution hierarchy determination means 17 changes the distribution hierarchy to a hierarchy lower than the current hierarchy. For example, when the communication line changes to congested state after starting distribution of all hierarchies, and the node 1 can reproduce the data only of two hierarchies, the node 1 does not wait the timing for checking the line speed at that moment in time, but changes from distribution of all hierarchies to distribution of two hierarchies or basic hierarchy. |
