PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejecting apparatus configured such that, when sorting and ejecting liquids of a plurality of colors and a plurality of kinds, physical properties of the liquids including colors and kinds are detected in a real time, then, optimum control can be performed based on detection information, and the cleaning method of the liquid jet apparatus.SOLUTION: A liquid ejecting apparatus includes: a liquid jet head 11 including a plurality of head bodies 220 for ejecting liquids which have been supplied from a plurality of liquid storage parts where the liquids are stored, through the respective liquid supply paths with a pressure generated by a pressure generation means driven by a drive signal through nozzle openings, as liquid droplets; sensors 21 for detecting the physical properties of the liquids including the colors and kinds supplied from the liquid storage parts to the respective head bodies in a real time; and a control means for generating the drive signal based on the real time information about the physical properties obtained by the sensors. |
