PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder which has functions to finely adjust a sample to a position which provides the maximum sensitivity in a cavity and to repeatedly fix a cell in the position.SOLUTION: The holder comprises: a base 33 that places a flat cell 2 holding a sample in a cavity of a cavity resonator and is fixed in the cavity resonator in a predetermined attitude; a holder body 32 movable to the base 33; a cell fixing part 31 detachably fixing the flat cell 2 to the holder body 32 at a predetermined position. The holder further comprises a holder fixing part 34 capable of fixing the holder body 32 to a position to which the holder body 32 is movable for the base 33. The holder body 32 and the base 33 are integrated with the flat cell 2 and constituted to be detachable in the cavity resonator 5 by fixing the flat cell 2 to the holder body 32 with the cell fixing part 31 and fixing the holder body 32 to the base 33 with the holder fixing part 34.
