PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce calculation cost when suppressing encoding degradation.SOLUTION: In a processing system 9 including a preprocessing device 7 and a postprocessing device 8, the preprocessing device 7 includes a preprocessing means 2 which performs signal processing to an input signal, inverse processing means 4 which performs a processing, approximate to the inverse processing carried out by the preprocessing means 2, for a local decoded signal produced when an encoding system 1 performs encoding and decoding for a signal subjected to signal processing by the preprocessing means 2, comparison means 5 for comparing the output signal from the inverse processing means 4 with an input signal, and optimization means 6 for optimizing the processing of the preprocessing means 2 based on the comparison results from the comparison means 5. The postprocessing device 8 includes inverse processing means 3 which performs a processing, approximate to the inverse processing carried out by the preprocessing means 2, for a decoded signal produced when the encoding system 1 performs encoding and decoding based on the optimization results from the optimization means 6. |
