PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling device which can be easily detached and attached, and endure tension.SOLUTION: An insertion hole (9) is formed from a left end surface of a plug part (8) of a first rod (1) to the right. An operation shaft (10) in the insertion hole (9) is biased to the left by a spring (12). A locking ball (16) is inserted into a housing hole (15) provided on an annular wall of the insertion hole (9). The operation shaft (10) includes an arcuate cam groove (17) into which the ball (16) is fitted, and a first fitting part (18). An annular protrusion part (25) is protruded radially inward from an inner peripheral surface of a peripheral wall of a socket hole (24) of a second rod (2). The ball (16) can be fitted to a fitting part (28) provided on an annular end part on a left end side of the annular protrusion part (25) from the left. A guide groove (30) is formed on an inner peripheral surface of the annular protrusion part (25) in a lateral direction. A second fitting part (34) provided in the socket hole (24) is fitted to the first fitting part (18) so as not to be relatively rotated and to be relatively moved in the lateral direction. |
