PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a black resin composition that has a high light-shielding property and high development sensitivity, excellently forms fine patterns, and easily forms light-shielding black films in desired pattern shapes as ultraviolet rays reach the bottoms of the black resin composition during exposure even though the black resin composition is applied thickly; a black material that is a raw material of the black resin composition; a black material fluid dispersion containing the black material; the black films; and base materials with the black films.SOLUTION: The black material comprises metallic fine particles including fine particles containing at least silver and tin elements. The content of the silver element is 30 mass% or more and 99 mass% or less. The average circles equivalent primary particle diameter of the metal fine particles is 3 nm or more and 100 nm or less. In the fluid dispersion in which the black material is dispersed with 0.0005 vol.% solid content in a disperse medium, at an optical path length of 10 mm, the average absorbance at 380 nm to 800 nm is 0.8 or more, the ratio between the absorbance at 313 nm d(I)and the absorbance at 555 nm d(I), d(I)/d(I), is 1.5 or less, and the ratio between the absorbance at 365 nm d(I)and the absorbance at 555 nm d(I), d(I)/d(I), is 1.5 or less. |
