PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support leg structure body that offers both load holding performance and load bearing performance at a time of earthquake, and a construction method for the support leg structure body.SOLUTION: A support leg structure body 100 has a core column 10 and a cylindrical outer column 20 connected by a yielding fuse member 30 during normal times and at a time of an L1 earthquake, realizing a rigid structure capable of appropriately supporting a superstructure 1 on which a train and a vehicle travel. The structure offers excellent load holding performance that appropriately supports the superstructure 1, by having the core column 10 and the cylindrical outer column 20 bear a load in a vertical direction and a load in a horizontal direction exerted by the superstructure 1. When a yielding fuse member 30 of the support leg structure body 100 is destroyed at a time of an L2 earthquake causing a seismic ground motion of a magnitude exceeding a prescribed limit, an elastic member 40 undergoes elastic deformation, to transform the support leg structure into a flexible structure with an elongated natural frequency. This prevents excessive displacement of the core column 10 and the cylindrical outer column 20, offering excellent load bearing performance at a time of earthquake that prevents a damage to the support leg structure body 100.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
