PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide plate and a backlight module using the light guide plate.SOLUTION: A light guide plate is provided which includes a bottom surface, an incident surface, and a plurality of light guide structures distributed on the bottom surface and extending along the incident surface. The light guiding structures have a trapezoidal shape including a bottom portion, a top portion, a first slant surface and a second slant surface disposed oppositely, wherein both of the first and second slant surfaces connect to the bottom portion and the top portion. The bottom portions of the light guiding structures are protruded from the bottom surface of the light guide plate. Alternatively, a patterned structure is formed between the adjacent light guiding structures and concave to the bottom surface of the light guide plate. A backlight module includes the light guide plate and at least one light source disposed beside the light guide plate. |
