PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovery apparatus for an inkjet recording apparatus, capable of allowing a cap member to open to the air with a low-cost configuration.SOLUTION: A recovery apparatus includes a switching means configured to switch between communication and shut-off between a cap member 43K and the air by opening/closing an open-to-air flow path 46 for making communication between the cap member 43K and the air. The switching means is configured to, when the cap member 43K is located at a first position (Fig.4(a)), shut off the open-to-air flow path 46 by the cap member 43K, and meanwhile, when the cap member 43K is located at a second position (Fig.4(b)), make communication of the open-to-air flow path 46 by the cap member 43K. |
