PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the same foaming rate using the same agitation container as usual regardless of an agitation amount when agitating a foamed gypsum slurry.SOLUTION: There is provided an agitation device 1 which rotates a rotary blade 22 in an agitation container 10 to agitate a foamed gypsum slurry 12 while foaming. The device has a blade displacement mechanism 26 for changing the height of the rotary blade, and a control part 30 for driving and controlling the mechanism 26. The rotary blade comprises at least two blades, and the external diameter of an upper side rotary blade 222 is larger than that of a lower side rotary blade 221. The control part 30 controls the height change of the rotary blade 22 in response to the agitation amount of the foamed gypsum slurry 12 so that the foaming rate of the slurry 12 becomes a desired value. |
