<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte for a sodium ion battery having low viscosity, high specific conductivity, hardly decomposing even at a high potential, and capable of using a material in which charge discharge can be conducted up to a high positive potential region as a positive active material. <P>SOLUTION: The electrolyte for the sodium ion battery is prepared by dissolving a sodium salt such as NaPF<SB>6</SB>in an organic solvent. The organic solvent contains a chain saturated hydrocarbon dinitrile compound in which a nitrile group is bonded to both ends of a chain saturated hydrocarbon compound, at least one nitrile compound out of a chain cyanoether compound in which at least one nitrile group is bonded to the end of a chain ether compound and a cyanoacetic acid ester, a cyclic carbonate, and at least one out of a cyclic ester and a chain carbonate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&amp;INPIT</p> |
