<p>The machine (1) has an external primary part (2) and an internal secondary part (3) that are designed such that cogging force is 50 percent of maximum force of the machine when current does not flow in the machine. The secondary part and/or the primary part comprise permanent magnets (6, 7). A short-circuiting circuit short-circuits an electromagnet in the machine, where the short-circuiting circuit is activated when current does not flow in the machine. A slot pitch of the primary part is identical to a pole pitch of the secondary part. A control unit passes current through the electromagnet. An independent claim is also included for a method for contactless selective fixing of a movement degree of freedom of a machine.</p> |
