The invention relates to a compartment device 11 for a passenger cabin 10 of a motor vehicle, comprising a compartment (14, figure 1) which is at least partly open in the direction of the passenger cabin, and a cover device 24 which is capable of being moved between a closed position covering the compartment and an open position uncovering the compartment, wherein on a side of the cover device facing the passenger cabin a display device 26 is arranged. The cover may comprise a roller shutter and the display device may be correspondingly flexibly deformable. The display device may be a touch sensitive screen, and a camera may be provided in the compartment for displaying on the screen articles present in the compartment. Touch sensitive actuation devices 30-34 may be displayed in the same position regardless of the position of the cover. |
