PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device with which streaky printing irregularity is hardly generated on a recording medium. SOLUTION: The printing device includes: a plurality of liquid discharge heads that have a liquid discharge hole group having an n (n is in integer of 2 or greater) number of liquid discharge holes and an n number of pressing parts, the liquid discharge holes being arranged two-dimensionally in one direction at regular intervals d so as to prevent them from overlapping a direction orthogonal to the one direction; a conveying means; and a control section that controls the pressing parts such that liquid droplets discharged from the one liquid discharge head form one line parallel to the one direction. The liquid discharge heads are arranged in a direction orthogonal to the one direction. Among discharge signals transmitted to the pressing parts for forming the one line, time differences between the first discharge signal and discharge signals transmitted at the second time and after are represented by ΔT<SB>2</SB>to ΔT<SB>m</SB>in ascending order. In this case, the control section makes at least one of the ΔT<SB>2</SB>to ΔT<SB>m</SB>different from the others in the different liquid discharge heads. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
