<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a user understand contents of function settings easily when a help screen is displayed at an operation display part where a function setting screen is displayed. <P>SOLUTION: An image-forming control part controls an image-forming apparatus equipped with an operation display part 140, and uses the operation display part 140 to display a function settings screen 1420 which displays a setting item part and a help screen 1430 which displays items concerning setting. By using the function settings screen 1420 to control display of the help screen 1430 in an area other than the area for displaying the setting item part (a binding method setting part 1421, an opening direction setting part 1422 and a cover-sheet tray setting part 1423), the image-forming control part enables a user to reference help contents while checking functions, does not need to have a hierarchical structure thanks to capability of linking between information desired by the user and a screen, can provide the most efficient help contents for the user, and can deliver important information on the apparatus to the user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
