A method for displaying a program and related information includes receiving program listings information, including program descriptions, storing the received program listings information, and receiving a user request to record a program. The method is characterised by the steps of. storing a plurality of received user requests for recording programs in a record queue, simultaneously displaying on user equipment, including a display screen, video associated with a first program in a first area of a screen and a display of a plurality of program listings of television programs available for reception, in a second, nonoverlapping, area of the screen, and displaying the record queue in response to a second user request. |
