The valve (1) has a housing (2) provided with a spraying aperture (3), and a valve needle (4) for opening and closing the spraying aperture and extending along a longitudinal axis (5). The valve needle is connected with an anchor (6), and an energizable coil (7) moves the anchor and the valve needle. An outer surface and/or a face surface of the anchor are designed as a drive surface (12). The drive surface is formed asymmetric with respect to a plane in which the axis lies such that the anchor and the valve needle are excitable to rotary movement around the axis by energizing the coil.
