The battery module of the present invention includes a housing including insertion parts, a terminal including a plate-type body part and a ground part extended along the height of both sides of the body part, and battery cells arranged in a longitudinal direction and including an electrode tap inserted into the housing to be connected to the ground part. Ends of the adjacent ground part and electrode tap are bent in opposite directions. According to the present invention, a laser welding method for a battery module uses a pair of pressure parts pressing the adjacent ground part and electrode tap, and a laser beam for welding the adjacent part of the electrode tap and the ground part.
