Provided is an electrode assembly wherein multiple unit cells, as a basic structure of a cathode, an anode and a separator are laminated over each other.The present invention are an electrode assembly, where in the anode of an external unit cell of the electrode assembly includes lithium manganese oxide and the anode of an interior unit cell of the electrode assembly includes lithium manganese cobalt oxide, and a lithium secondary battery including the same. The embodiment of the present invention is excellent in stability because the anode of the external unit cell of the electrode assembly includes lithium manganese oxide and the anode of the interior unit cell of the electrode assembly includes lithium manganese cobalt oxide as well.
