Provided are a negative electrode material for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery, a manufacturing method of the negative electrode material for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery, and a non-aqueous secondary battery using the negative electrode material for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery. The manufacturing method of the negative electrode material comprises the processes of: preparing silicon nanoparticles; manufacturing silicon-carbon complex material comprising the silicon nanoparticles and carbonaceous materials; and heat-pressuring the silicon-carbon complex material. The negative electrode material for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery has a high capacity, excellent initial charging and discharging efficiency and cycle property.
