An I/O data retention device capable of retaining I/O data without depending on an alive logic circuit is disclosed. The device uses a retention enable signal generated by a normal logic circuit. Also, a retention control cell circuit in the device outputs a retention control signal by latching the retention enable signal according to a normal logic circuit power voltage and the supply detection result of an I/O high voltage. The device includes an I/O cell circuit, which latches I/O data in response to the retention control signal. |
