The hatch (100) has a frame (104) with a shape intended to fit the profile of a pit (500). A flap (108) is mounted on the frame and movable between an open position in which air is allowed to pass through the ventilation hatch, and a closed position in which the air is prevented from crossing the ventilation hatch. An actuating system (110) is intended to move the flap from the open to the closed position, and vice versa. The flap is mounted movable in rotation about a rotation axis (114) that is parallel to the slope of the bottom of the pit. An independent claim is also included for a livestock building.
