FIELD: physics.SUBSTANCE: method of measuring electron temperature of thermonuclear plasma involves operations of passing a stream of X-ray quanta from an apparatus through detecting means having filter elements. The detecting means used are two low-voltage ionisation chambers, at the input of one of which there is an aluminium filter element having thickness of 10-20 mcm; signals from the low-voltage ionisation chamber are transmitted to one common anode, wherein constant bias of +15 V is applied on the cathode of one of the low-voltage ionisation chambers and an alternating voltage - a meander with amplitude of ±15 V is applied on the other, and the obtained signals are used to determine filter transparency properties for radiation of a given spectral composition for association with a certain temperature of the thermonuclear plasma.EFFECT: simple design and high reliability of measurement.2 cl, 5 dwg |
